The Armstrong County Voter Registration/Elections Department conducts the County's Primary and General Elections as well as overseeing Voter Registration activities.

The General Primary in Pennsylvania will be held on April 26, 2016.  Polls are open from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM.

Pennsylvania law requires a closed primary, meaning only voters registered as Democrats or Republicans will select nominees to represent their party in the November general election. However, all registered electors, regardless of party affiliation, are entitled to vote on ballot questions and in all special elections that might be held concurrently with a primary.  For more information on voting in Pennsylvania, visit the Department of State‚Äôs website at www.dos.pa.gov.
